Getting Started

Here's how to get up and running in Liza – from login to your first shared list.

1. Sign in

Open app.liza.app and sign in. Liza runs in the browser and as a desktop app.

2. Guided onboarding

On first launch Liza asks whether it should set you up in a few guided steps. If you accept, Liza creates the list "🚀 Getting started" and walks you through it – the AI explains each step and, on request, does it for you:

  • Ask Liza how to best get going
  • Invite colleagues
  • Create your first own list
  • Connect an integration (GitHub, Stripe, calendar …)
  • Set up AI & ask a first question
  • Create a custom agent or skill
  • Install the app

Beforehand Liza asks once how you work (solo, with a team, or as a developer) and creates a matching starter list. You can cancel at any time.

3. Workspace & team

Your workspace is the shared working space for your organization. Invite colleagues and group them into teams.

4. Create your first list

Lists are at the heart of Liza: create a list (e.g. "Onboarding" or "Sprint 42") and add your first tasks. Each list has its own chat, files, and events.

5. Collaborate

  • Assign tasks to people and set due dates.
  • Discuss directly on a task in the team chat.
  • Start a meeting straight from the project when needed.

6. Connect & automate

Link external tools via integrations (e.g. calendars, GitHub), let Liza AI lend a hand, and plan recurring work in the schedule.

Not sure what a term means? The key concepts explain lists, tasks, boards, channels & co. in short and simple terms.
